A complete stick shift lesson with real-world practice!
Service Description
A 2 hour course where you'll learn the fundamentals of stick shift driving including conceptual topics, first gear, reverse gear, parking, upshifting & downshifting, and proper hill control. This is the perfect lesson to learn the concepts and put the fundamental stick shift skills into practice. - All instruction is performed behind the wheel on quiet public roads so that you can properly learn ALL the skills. Unlike other companies, we don't limit your skills to a parking lot. - Most of our customers find that 2 hours is enough time to understand how to safely and properly drive a manual transmission car. If you'd like more practice after your lesson is over you can always book more time, or you may come back on a different day and continue where you left off. - This lesson has no age restrictions, and you may take this lesson even if you only have an instruction permit. At SHIFTR we want to make sure you have a relaxed experience, and we fully insure all training vehicles to provide a safe learning environment. Unlike other companies, we'll never ask you for your personal insurance information.
Cancellation Policy
A 50% non-refundable deposit is due at the time of booking in order to ensure your spot in our course. If you're not able to make it, you can use the deposit towards a future course (within 3 months of the deposit) as long as you cancel at least 24 hours before your scheduled lesson. If you cancel less than 24 hours before your lesson or fail to show, you will forfeit your deposit.
